clouds of bicycling women
rushing toward the garment factory,
cows being led on their final trip
into town,
sweethearts on motos at sunset.

across the farm, past the roosters and turkeys,
the volleyball court, the goats yammering
in their pens, out past the ponies to the fish ponds
to catch some shade under the fishing dock.
